Avigilon Access Control Manager 2FA

Objective

To enhance the security of Avigilon Access Control Manager (ACM) operations and reduce the risk of unauthorized access compromising physical security.

Two factor authentication can be activated by:

Signing into the user’s ACM account
Selecting the Image of a person in the top right of the ACM dashboard and clicking “My Account”
Select “Add new device” next to “MFA Device”
Using your sign in credentials on the pop-up prompt
Naming the device and scanning the QR Code generated by ACM with an Authentication service app on the user’s phone (Note: Microsoft Authenticator is in use by most system employees, this service is likely the most convenient)
Entering the 6-digit password generated by the Authentication service.
